Description

Collected from Lance Creek Formation,  WY Cretaceous 72-66 Million Years Old.
This specimen is from a section of a juvenile duckbill dinosaur’s leg.  The white lines on the bone are bentonite from the dig-site it was found in. The size of this femur indicates that it was a juvenile. Juvenile bones are rare to find in most dinosaur species.  Nice shape to the bone. It was cleaned and stabilized in the field.
