Allosaurus Vertebra Section

Allosaurus lived during the Jurassic age, 145-155 million years ago and were one of the deadliest carnivores found during this period. Allosaurus bones are rare to find and due to their age, the bones are very well agatized.  This vertebra section has a nice brownish red coloring and has lots of trabecular pattern. Still retains the centrum shape and has tapering on the main body.  The fossil still has a nice portion of where the neural chord would have been.
