Description
Section with 6 teeth impressions Cretaceous, 66-68 MYO, Hell Creek Formation, MT. This section of jaw is from the back left side of the Triceratops. Found in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. There is still the well preserved area where the rear hinge of the upper jaw met the lower jaw. Along with 6 well-defined impressions in the jaw where teeth were forming. This fossil has beautiful outer skin of the bone and no restoration. There are natural cracks that formed over millions of years under ground. A fine piece of a Triceratop’s section of jaw.
